Execution across cloud and private networks
I built core platform components for Zoho QEngine and served as technical lead for its server team from 2020 to 2023.
The problem
An execution platform has to work across environments it does not fully control: cloud machines, desktop operating systems, mobile emulators, and private enterprise services.
What I owned
I owned local-run and cloud agent implementations, cloud-to-enterprise connectivity, and cloud Android test execution. I also contributed to the low-code authoring experience and coordinated work across product teams.
Engineering decisions
Connect to the environment customers already have
Reverse-proxy connectivity lets cloud agents reach private applications for test execution without requiring those applications to be publicly exposed.
Separate control traffic from execution data
WebSocket and REST handle agent communication, while Kafka carries high-volume screenshots, logs, and run data.
The result
The platform supports internal product teams and enterprise customers. Alongside platform work, I mentored an engineer and contributed to architecture reviews, release coordination, and deployment.
