Separate configuration from execution
Versioned prompts and agent configuration allow product behavior to evolve without tying every change to a different execution loop.
02 / PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE
I helped shape a shared Java framework used across product agents, contributing architectural decisions that made the runtime reusable.
As agent features grow, rebuilding orchestration, prompt handling, conversation storage, and tool integration for each feature creates repeated work and inconsistent behavior.
I was a key contributor to the framework’s architecture. My decisions included keeping prompts in YAML and making orchestration adaptable to different kinds of agents. I also co-designed conversation storage across MySQL and Cassandra.
Versioned prompts and agent configuration allow product behavior to evolve without tying every change to a different execution loop.
A common orchestration layer supports different agent roles while allowing product-specific tools and integrations.
Conversation metadata, messages, and execution history need a coherent model that supports both the user experience and operational investigation.
The framework is used across the product’s agents, including conversational and application-building experiences. My role was shared architectural ownership alongside the team.
